Machine Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and packaging industry, is seeking several Machine Operators to join their team.  As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operators

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Rate: $20.50/hr

Shift: Mid Shift, Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm + (Until Production is Done)
 

What's the Job?

• Operate and support packaging lines for dry mix, pouches, pails, and cans safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and packaging areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Accurately scan packaging materials and finished goods into the BatchMaster system, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Set up and configure equipment based on production schedules, including piping and code programming.
• Maintain detailed line logs and ensure proper weights, metal detector protocols, and packaging supplies are followed and documented.

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
