Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor, is seeking dependable and motivated Order Pickers/Warehouse Associates to join their distribution center in Carol Stream, IL. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse order-picking experience, can operate stand-up material handling equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using order tickets and warehouse systems
• Operate stand-up warehouse equipment including order pickers, cherry pickers, and reach trucks
• Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems
• Stage and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the shift
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Work overtime when business needs require

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of warehouse order picking experience
• Experience operating stand-up warehouse equipment (order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, etc.)
• Ability to regularly lift 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout a 10-12 hour shift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Raymond order pickers
• Experience using RF scanners
• Distribution center or high-volume warehouse experience
