We are looking for an accomplished personal injury attorney to join a growing law firm in Houston, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a litigation-focused attorney who is confident in the courtroom and experienced in representing injured clients through all phases of a case. The role calls for strong trial preparation skills, sound courtroom judgment, and the ability to advocate effectively in personal injury matters.

Responsibilities:
• Manage personal injury cases from initial evaluation through resolution, ensuring each matter progresses efficiently and strategically.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial appearances.
• Prepare thoroughly for trial by developing case strategy, organizing evidence, drafting motions, and coordinating witness preparation.
• Deliver effective courtroom advocacy by presenting arguments, responding to opposing counsel, and raising appropriate objections during proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents with accuracy and care.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, medical providers, and internal team members to build well-supported claims and advance case objectives.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities while advising clients on legal options and case developments.

• At least 3 years of legal experience, with a focus on personal injury litigation.

• Bilingual in Spanish

• Demonstrated background handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters; plaintiff representation is strongly preferred.

• Trial experience is required, including participation in at least four cases that proceeded to trial.

• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, litigation procedure, and courtroom practice.

• Ability to manage trial preparation independently, including document development, case planning, and evidentiary review.

• Experience making and responding to objections in court and navigating contested litigation matters effectively.

• Licensed attorney in good standing and authorized to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
