Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience

• Fluent in English — spoken and written

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Punctual, dependable, and a team player

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)

• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System)

• Extensiv WMS experience is a plus

• Comfortable with Microsoft Teams for video calls

• Basic email and computer skills

Communication & Customer Skills

• Professional communication with customers via email, phone, and Teams

• Able to join weekly customer update calls and provide clear status updates

• Handles delays or discrepancies calmly and professionally

Organization & Operations

• Keeps shipping and receiving logs accurate and up to date

• Familiar with BOLs, packing lists, and shipment documentation

• Tracks open shipments and follows up on exceptions without prompting

• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Basic knowledge of LTL, FTL, inbound/outbound freight

• Experience with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
