Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Technician will primarily work on various job sites within a 2-3 hour radius of Thomasville, GA. The technician will utilize mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes used in manufacturing and production environments. Comfort with climbing up to cranes and strong customer service skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes, hoists, below-the-hook devices, and other lifting devices.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
- Support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office to repair equipment as needed.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
- Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, conducting OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service/breakdown calls.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
- Build and maintain customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customers of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Comfortable working at heights and with millwork.
- Experience in servicing equipment or machinery on site.
- Electrical troubleshooting, maintenance technician, and preventive maintenance expertise.
- Ability to inspect according to OSHA/ANSI criteria.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Hand tool and power tool experience, including voltmeter usage.
- Experience working with low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to input work orders and job updates on iPhone and computers.
- Welding is a strong plus; Wabo certification is beneficial but can be obtained if needed.
- Experience with 3-phase motors and VFDs.
- Electrical troubleshooting ability.

Work Environment
The technician will work on customer sites almost entirely, with the shop serving as a storage site. The work is split between 50% indoor and 50% outdoor environments. The technician will work 70% independently and 30% with others, with flexibility in days and hours worked. On-call rotation is part of the schedule, with one week on-cycle with the service team.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
