Machine Shop Lead - 2nd Shift

Position: Machine Shop Lead - 2nd Shift
Pay: $26.00+ per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Mon-Thurs) + $3 shift premium
Location: Milwaukee, WI, United States

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Machine Shop Lead to start IMMEDIATELY at $26.00+ per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

• Operate Makino MMC (pallet pool) including loading/unloading fixtures, cleaning debris, performing quality checks, and material handling to keep CNC machines running smoothly
• Check, maintain, repair, sharpen, and replace machine cutting tools; monitor inventory of tooling for each machine
• Identify machine and tooling issues; collaborate with supervisor, tool room, maintenance, or engineering to resolve problems
• Serve as technical lead for machine operators
• Assist in training new operators and serve as back-up to the supervisor when needed
• Work with Engineering on new parts and process improvements
• Move materials within the plant and document through SAP
• Read technical prints and develop tooling plans accordingly
• G-Code programming and troubleshooting for CNC machining
• Support continuous 24-hour operations as a journeyman machinist

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 5 years of machine shop experience required
• Preferred: Technical certification in machine shop operations, knowledge of Makino equipment & tooling, experience with SAP, and MMC (pallet pool) familiarity
• Experience in G-code programming, technical drawings, and tooling plans
• Prior work in continuous, 24/7 operations as a journeyman machinist
