Job Description
We are seeking a skilled individual to work on a Cincinnati press brake, focusing on the production of large metal sinks. The role involves ensuring parts match diagrams and are shaped correctly, utilizing micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for precision checking.
Responsibilities- Assist higher-level Sheet Metal Craftsman in positioning sheet metal parts for forming in brake presses.
- Aid in the changing of brake press dies.
- Operate hand/foot controls of brakes under the direction of experienced Sheet Metal Craftsman to assist in metal forming processes.
- Utilize carts to transport various materials within the department.
- Perform daily general clean-up within designated work areas.
- Experience with machine operation, particularly brake press and metals.
- Basic measuring skills using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
- 6 months to a year of metal machine operating experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including sanders, shears, presses, and spot welders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large, clean industrial facility on the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. Expect to work 40-45 hours a week alongside a team of 100 people on the production floor. Dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt, along with safety glasses and steel toe boots.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.63 - $25.86/hr.
