Real Estate Transaction Coordinator

Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a local firm to find a real estate legal assistant! Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and edit real estate and closing-related documents.
• Coordinate and schedule closings, appointments, and other transaction-related activities.
• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and the Real Estate Group.
• Assist with residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures and HUD-1 Settlement Statements.
• Utilize SoftPro closing software to support transaction and closing processes.
• Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Maintain organized and accurate transaction files and documentation.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting residential real estate transactions is required.
• Familiarity with title insurance and the real estate closing process.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Closing Disclosures and/or HUD-1 Settlement Statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and WordPerfect.
• Experience using SoftPro closing software preferred/required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
