Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a crucial role providing laboratory expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care while working with advanced laboratory technologies in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

  • Seven 10-hour shifts over two weeks.
  • Monday/Friday: 7:00am–5:30pm; Saturday/Sunday: 8:00am–6:30pm.
  • Cyclical pattern: Work Sat/Sun/Mon, off Tues/Wed, work Thurs/Fri, off Sat/Sun/Mon, work Tues/Wed, off Thurs/Fri, and repeat.
  • Alternating biweekly hours: 30 hours one week, 40 hours the next.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification through ASCP or AMT.
  • Experience as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
  • Broad hospital generalist experience; capable of working across various laboratory disciplines.
  • Skilled in operating Roche Chemistry and Sysmex Hematology analyzers.
  • Proficient with manual Gram stain procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring results are accurate and consistent.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and fellow laboratory professionals to deliver high-quality and timely results.
  • Ensure stringent compliance with all laboratory and safety protocols.
  • Document, review, and report test results clearly and efficiently within laboratory information systems.
