Box Truck Driver

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Pay: $18.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

An established local business in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a reliable Box Truck Driver & Warehouse Associate for a dual-role position. You will handle local customer deliveries, safely operate a box truck, and assist with warehouse duties when not on the road. All routes are strictly local—you will be home every evening and enjoy regular weekend time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Local Deliveries: Safely drive and operate a box truck to deliver products directly to local customers throughout the Fort Walton Beach area.

• Vehicle Inspection & Care: Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, secure cargo safely, and maintain clean delivery logs.

• Warehouse Operations: Spend dedicated time in the warehouse staging loads, conducting quality assurance checks, loading/unloading cargo, and organizing stock.

• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients during offloads and represent the company with a positive, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• License & Driving Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).

• Truck & Warehouse Experience: Quality assurance background with prior experience operating or driving a box truck (required).

• DOT Medical Card: Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate / DOT Card is a strong plus.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, maneuver, and unload merchandise continuously throughout the shift.

• Work Ethic: Punctual, detail-oriented, and dependable for a standard 7:00 AM start time.

Compensation & Perks

• Hourly Pay: $18.00/hr

• Schedule: Consistent day shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday)

• Home Daily: 100% local driving routes
