Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Reliability and Maintainability engineering.
  • Experience with airplane and system design reliability requirements validation and verification.
  • Knowledge of reliability requirements allocation to suppliers.
  • Experience with failure modes, rates, effects, propagation, and detection analysis.
  • Familiarity with architecture and operational provisions.
  • Experience with safety and certification analysis.
  • Knowledge of certification support and reliability and durability testing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in Design for Reliability and Safety.
  • Validate and verify airplane and system design reliability requirements.
  • Allocate reliability requirements to suppliers.
  • Perform analysis on failure modes, rates, effects, propagation, and detection.
  • Conduct safety and certification analysis and provide certification support.
  • Oversee reliability and durability testing.
  • Interact with airplane system suppliers, business partners, and airline customers.
  • Communicate effectively with development program leaders and functional management.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering organizations, program teams, and functional design areas.
  • Manage multiple actions and assignments while engaging in problem solving.
