Schedule & Hours

• Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Caseload Details

• Setting: Elementary (1:1 support)
• Student exhibits severe maladaptive behaviors
• Toileting support is required

Key Notes for Recruiting

• Must have hands-on experience with severe behaviors
• Confirm candidate is comfortable with high-acuity behavioral needs
• Confirm candidate is comfortable commuting to the site

Requirements

• Must meet Delaware DOE requirements (effective Feb 1):
  • Completed paraeducator certification OR 60 college credits, OR
  • Willing to take and pass the paraeducator exam prior to start

Additional Requirements

• Fingerprinting (CBC): $85 (candidate-paid)
  Confirm candidate acknowledges and agrees prior to submission 

Pay

• $28–$34/hour depending on experience, caseload, and credentialing
