Position: Robotic Polisher

Are you an experienced polisher with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision work? We’re seeking a dedicated Robotic Polisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the 2nd shift, offering competitive compensation and rewarding career growth opportunities.

Shift Details:

• Hours: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Pay Rate: Starting at $29+ per hour, based on experience
• Shift Premium: $3.00/hour for 2nd shift

Position Overview:
As a Robotic Polisher, you will operate advanced robotic polishing cells, receiving complex castings from the Machine Shop and preparing them through automated polishing before they move to inspection. Your role is essential in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload multiple belt and buffing robots efficiently and accurately.
• Operate all mechanical and control functions of the polishing cells, including installing, monitoring, and replacing abrasive belts and buff wheels.
• Initiate, program, and download polishing and buffing programs, managing setup and changeovers for different workpieces.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and diagnose mechanical or program issues to support optimal cell performance.
• Maintain liquid and solid buffing compounds, ensuring consistent quality.
• Inspect finished castings, making manual adjustments with a wheel to meet quality specifications.
• Handle Fanuc robotic tool changing processes confidently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and quality goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of polishing or buffing experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Strong visual acuity to assess and ensure product quality.
• Familiarity with robotic systems and polishing equipment is preferred.
