Job Description
This role focuses on operating molding and assembly line equipment to produce plastic automotive parts. You will assemble components, perform visual inspections, sort materials, package finished products, and stock items to support efficient production in a clean, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Operate molding machines and production equipment to manufacture plastic automotive parts according to established procedures.
- Work on assembly lines to accurately assemble plastic components and sub-assemblies.
- Inspect parts for defects or quality issues and ensure all products meet required standards.
- Sort parts and materials based on quality, type, and production needs.
- Package finished products safely and securely, following labeling and packaging guidelines.
- Stock parts and materials in designated areas to keep work cells organized and well supplied.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment to complete assembly and production tasks.
- Support general labor tasks on the production floor as needed to maintain workflow.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of required footwear and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work cell and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.
- Experience working as a production worker or in general production roles.
- Ability to perform assembly work on plastic parts and components.
- Capability to operate molding machines and basic production equipment.
- Skill in visual inspection to identify defects and quality issues.
- Experience with sorting, packaging, and stocking materials and finished goods.
- Comfort with general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Willingness to work on traditional 8-hour shifts, including up to 6 days per week when needed.
- Background in machine operation or general production is beneficial.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Prior work in packaging, packing, or material handling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with automotive parts manufacturing environments is helpful.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean manufacturing environment, working in small work cells alongside a few other team members. Traditional 8-hour shifts run Monday through Friday on three schedules: 1st shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and 3rd shift from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Shifts may extend up to a maximum of 6 days per week, for a total of up to 48 hours. Steel toe boots or shoes are required as part of the dress code. Conditions may be hot during the summer months, and employees are expected to follow all safety and cleanliness standards while working with production equipment, hand tools, and packaging materials.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.50/hr.
