Respiratory Therapist

Location: Sanford, FL 32771
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift: Nights | Rotating Weekends
Shift Differential: $4.50/hr nights + $3/hr weekends

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of recent acute-care RRT experience; CRT experience accepted
• NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Associate degree or completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program
• BLS/BCLS required within 30 days of start
• ACLS required within 6 months
• PALS required within 6 months
• NRP required within 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures
• Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and respiratory therapies
• Assist with artificial airway placement and mechanical ventilation
• Monitor ventilated patients and therapeutic responses
• Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients
• Respond to emergencies and support airway management during resuscitation
