Commercial Litigation Associate | Orange County
Salary Range: $170,000-$260,000+ DOE
Hybrid Schedule - 2 days remote, 3 days on-site

A highly regarded AmLaw 200 law firm with a strong reputation throughout Orange County is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate for its OC office.
The litigation practice represents high-profile clients in significant and complex disputes and provides junior associates with meaningful opportunities to take on substantive responsibility early in their careers. Junior associates may have the opportunity to take depositions, participate in trial preparation, appear in proceedings, and work directly with partners and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
- Analyze business disputes, contracts, claims, and potential liability.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Handle discovery, document review, and depositions.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trial.
- Negotiate settlements and advise clients regarding litigation risks and potential outcomes.
- Communicate case strategy, developments, and recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with partners on sophisticated, high-stakes business disputes.

Requirements
- Active California Bar membership and in good standing.
- 1 to 4 years of legal experience, preferably with meaningful civil litigation exposure.
- Strong academic and professional credentials preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in and enthusiasm for complex commercial litigation.
