Position: Lead MRI Technologist / MRI Coordinator

Location: Coquille, Oregon
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Discipline: MRI Technologist

Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts
Hours: 80 hours per pay period
Pay: $32.67–$46.13/hour, based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Retention Bonus: $10,000 after 2 years, based on satisfactory performance


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to provide high-quality, safe, and patient-centered imaging services.

The Lead MRI Technologist will partner with the Director of Imaging to support departmental operations, staff development, training, process improvement, and MRI-related activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Lead MRI Technologist and support daily MRI department operations.
  • Partner with the Director of Imaging on departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with staff meetings and training initiatives.
  • Support process improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate MRI-related events and activities.
  • Collaborate with the contracted research organization, AMR, to support research activities and compliance.
  • Provide safe, high-quality MRI services.
  • Promote patient safety, comfort, and an excellent patient experience.
  • Work under the supervision of the Imaging Department Medical Director.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records and files.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with imaging staff, providers, and healthcare leadership.


Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or training.
  • Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT MRI registration/certification in hand at the time of submission.
  • 5+ years of MRI experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of Lead Technologist experience.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and files.


Licensure & Certifications

  • Current ARRT registration in Radiography.
  • Current ARRT MRI registration/certification.
  • Current state-required Radiologic Technologist licensure/registration.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Additional modality-specific registrations may be required.
  • MRI Safety Officer Certification preferred.
