Assistant Manager

This position offers $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus tips. Employees in this role typically earn an additional $4 to $7 per hour in tips, bringing total earning potential to $22 to $28 per hour. Tips are a consistent and meaningful part of compensation in this role and should be factored into your overall consideration.

We are looking for a passionate, confident, and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of our ice cream shop. This is a fun, fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and the ability to train, support, and motivate a team.

Candidates must demonstrate a high level of personal maturity, professionalism, and the ability to lead with authority. This position requires someone who is career-focused and takes a serious, composed approach to leadership.

Candidates must have at least 3 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience in the food industry. We are looking for someone who has successfully trained or guided employees before, understands how to lead by example, and has the confidence to make decisions, hold team members accountable, and keep the store running smoothly.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and their own car, as travel between locations or handling store-related errands may be required.

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily store operations and supporting the management team

Training, coaching, and developing team members

Maintaining high standards for customer service, cleanliness, and product quality

Making quick, confident decisions in a fast-paced environment

Managing employee performance and helping maintain accountability

Assisting with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage

Supporting inventory, ordering, and product preparation needs

Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and company procedures are followed

Handling customer concerns professionally and respectfully

Helping evaluate and implement new products or operational improvements

Keeping the store organized, clean, and running efficiently

Communicating clearly with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership
