Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab with at least 1 year of experience and RT-R (ARRT) or RCIS certification.
Details
- Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab performing Heart, IR, and EP procedures
- 40-hour work week with rotating on-call coverage
- Day shift from 06:45 to 15:15
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- RT-R (ARRT) or RCIS certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Assist physicians with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system
- Perform active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations
- Anticipate case changes and communicate patient condition updates to the physician and team
- Perform patient testing including oxygen saturation, cardiac output, shunting, and hemodynamic calculations
- Assist with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure clean-up
- Maintain asepsis and follow infection control and sharp safety procedures
- Provide patient education on post-procedure monitoring and catheter insertion site care
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
