THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on evaluating programs, improving systems, and supporting analytical work that strengthens operations across veterans homes. You will conduct studies, develop reports, and work with teams to improve efficiency and support statewide initiatives. As a Program Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties:

  • Program Research: Conduct research studies and analyze initiatives to assess effectiveness and alignment with goals
  • Data Evaluation: Review program metrics, measure performance, and analyze complex data sets for improvements
  • Grant Coordination: Collaborate with departments to develop applications, monitor compliance, and support reporting
  • Report Development: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that help leadership understand operational trends
  • System Administration: Serve as an administrator for assigned systems, analyze updates, and support user training
  • Team Collaboration: Lead or assist cross functional teams in evaluating new products, studying outcomes, and creating recommendations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to five days per ten-day pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must pass a favorable National Crime Information Center (NCIC) screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
  • You must maintain an Automated Installation Entry (AIE) card once it is issued.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
