About the Position

Our client is seeking a professional Local CDL A Truck Driver for a home-daily delivery position in Buford, GA. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer with a dry van and liftgate while completing local LTL deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable operating a manual transmission and handling light touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26.00 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 6:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm
• Home daily

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer on local routes.
• Complete approximately 15–17 deliveries per day.
• Unload palletized freight using the liftgate and perform light touch handling as needed.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous service at delivery locations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Experience operating like equipment, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• At least 25 years of age.
