Position Summary

Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of gasoline, diesel fuel, off-road diesel, kerosene, and other petroleum products to residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial customers. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and equipment care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate 4500–5500-gallon fuel delivery truck in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Load, transport, and deliver petroleum products accurately to customer locations.

Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Verify delivery quantities and complete all required documentation using electronic systems provided.

Follow proper spill prevention and emergency response procedures.

Provide professional and courteous customer service with every delivery.

Maintain a clean and organized truck, cab, and work area,

Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or customer issues.

Assist with inventory control and terminal loading procedures.

Required Qualifications :

Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsements.

Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate

Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Ability to safely operate fuel delivery equipment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift, carry, pull, or move up to 75 pounds.

Climb ladders and steps to access truck compartments.

Connect and disconnect fuel hoses weighing up to 50 pounds.

Stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous petroleum or fuel delivery experience.

Experience operating tank trucks.

Familiarity with electronic delivery and routing systems.
