Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days & Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms; up to three attempts permitted under defined criteria)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across adult and pediatric populations
• Familiarity with high-acuity telemetry monitoring and rapid response protocols
