Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Provide treatment for speech, language, communication, and cognitive disorders
- Assess and treat swallowing and feeding difficulties as appropriate
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Promote patient safety, independence, and improved quality of life
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility, as applicable
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
- Previous clinical experience preferred, but not required for new graduates
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and patient populations
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Willingness to travel for new assignments
