October 26–November 1 • 7A–3P + Weekend Call • Community Hospital Anesthesia
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an urgent locum tenens assignment in Fortuna, California.
This is a concentrated one-week coverage opportunity combining 7:00 AM–3:00 PM hospital anesthesia coverage with 24-hour weekend beeper call. The clinical environment offers experienced CRNAs a broad community-hospital anesthesia scope, including general anesthesia, orthopedic and pediatric cases, regional techniques, and invasive line placement.

- October 26–29: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- October 30–November 1: 24-hour beeper call

Clinical Scope
CRNAs should be comfortable with a broad anesthesia practice that may include:
- General anesthesia
- Orthopedic cases
- Pediatric cases
- Thoracic cases
- Spinal anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia
- Central line placement
- Arterial line placement
CRNA Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Active California license
- Active DEA
- Current BLS
- Recent, relevant clinical activity
- Comfortable with adult and pediatric anesthesia
- Proficiency with spinals and regional anesthesia
- Proficiency with central and arterial line placement
- Must meet facility requirements for temporary privileges
Because this is an urgent assignment utilizing temporary privileges, candidates must be able to move efficiently through the credentialing process.
