Demand Planning Analyst


Location: Rosemont, IL
Job Type: Contract – 6+ Months, with a strong possibility of extension
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – 5 days per week


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Analyst to support sales forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will analyze demand trends, develop accurate forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational efficiency across acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales demand forecasts for newly acquired territories and business units.
  • Perform inventory optimization and safety-stock calculations to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Manage warehouse replenishment planning based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and business requirements.
  • Analyze seasonal demand patterns across beer, spirits, soft drinks, and ready-to-drink (RTD) products.
  • Support route-to-market and distribution network optimization initiatives.
  • Integrate and analyze supplier demand signals to improve forecast accuracy and supply planning.
  • Develop demand forecasts to support new product introductions (NPI).
  • Support and align S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes across acquired businesses.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and other stakeholders to identify demand and supply gaps.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and provide recommendations to improve demand planning and inventory performance.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP/Supply Chain Planning systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with S&OP processes and demand forecasting models is a plus.
