Qualifications
Required Education:
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent .
Required Experience:
Minimum: No previous experience required.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
FLBOP registration in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulations of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 465 (Pharmacy), Section 014 (Pharmacy Technician), within six (6) months post-hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six (6) to twelve (12) months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision* of the Director/Pharmacy, Supervisor/Pharmacy, or a Pharmacist, trains to perform a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system. Responsible for maintaining confidential reports, entering and retrieving data utilizing the computer system, filling automated medication dispensing systems with a supply of unit dose medications, procuring and filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies, and delivering supplies to patient care areas.
