Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the development of innovative biotherapeutic delivery platforms and advancing pipeline programs. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative research environment focused on bioanalytical characterization, molecular biology, and translational research. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on laboratory experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to independently execute experiments while contributing to cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support research activities related to tissue-enhanced delivery technologies and biotherapeutic development programs.
  • Process animal tissues for protein characterization and nucleic acid extraction.
  • Perform bioanalytical assays, including PCR-based methods and electrochemiluminescence immunoassays (MSD).
  • Conduct cell-based functional assays to evaluate and characterize biologic candidates.
  • Generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data to support research objectives.
  • Develop, optimize, and document laboratory procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Adapt and implement new experimental protocols from scientific literature.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs).
  • Collaborate effectively with scientists and cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Follow laboratory safety practices and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related life sciences field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-bachelors research experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, or related laboratory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, or related assays.
  • Experience processing animal tissues for downstream molecular or protein analysis.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and cell-based functional assays.
  • Familiarity with electronic laboratory notebooks and scientific data management systems.
  • Experience supporting biologics, gene therapy, drug delivery, or translational research programs
