Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a contracted Occupational Therapy Assistant working in a dynamic, inclusive educational setting near Medford, OR. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster students’ growth and independence throughout the school year.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 17, 2027, providing consistent hours—37.5 per week, Monday to Friday—to create meaningful relationships and continuity of care with your students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Oregon COTA license
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in schools is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized occupational therapy programs under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists
  • Support students in achieving IEP goals with direct and consultative services
  • Document session notes and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Adapt strategies for varying abilities and needs within the K-12 population
