In this position, you'll have a structured Monday through Friday schedule working from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, engaging with students across all grade levels. As you make a real difference in the lives of young learners, your expertise and commitment will directly influence their growth and success. After 422 hours as a contractor, you'll have the opportunity for direct hire with the school district.

Qualifications:

• Must be Highly Qualified as a paraprofessional by one of the following:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Educator Exam (provide passing score)
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (transcripts required; diploma or degree not sufficient)
• Experience supporting K-12 students, particularly in special education or behavioral support settings, preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Resume and Highly Qualified documentation must be submitted for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators and therapists to deliver individualized support for students within a Setting 4 program
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior strategies as directed by classroom teachers and specialists
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Track progress and provide feedback regarding student development and needs
