Special Education Teacher in Cibolo, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Special Education Teacher Certification required
• Experience in K-8th grade settings, with inclusion classrooms strongly preferred
• Commitment to student-centered, individualized instruction for diverse learners
• Collaborative spirit and clear communication skills for working with staff and families
• Ability to commute to the school location as outlined

Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and inclusion strategies for students in K-8th grade
• Deliver engaging instruction and coordinate with general education teachers to provide appropriate supports
• Monitor progress, complete necessary documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary team members
