Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Current, active Louisiana OT license
  • Experience with school-based OT services, including virtual therapy
  • Ability to conduct re-evaluations and PreK assessments across grade levels
  • Skilled at developing and completing IEPs
  • Previous supervision of COTAs preferred
  • Comfortable working in a virtual/teletherapy setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive virtual OT services to students across multiple grade levels
  • Conduct timely re-evaluations and PreK assessments (with dedicated Fridays for PreK)
  • Allocate at least one day per week for the completion of IEP documentation
  • Supervise and mentor a COTA to ensure best practices and compliance
  • Adapt to the short-term nature of the contract with flexibility and efficiency
