Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working with students with a variety of exceptionalities
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of students
• Collaborative approach when working with parents, staff, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with special needs
• Create, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based strategies to support student learning and engagement
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom setting
• Communicate consistently with families and other team members regarding student goals and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
