Key Qualifications:
- Current Rhode Island Department of Education Special Education license (Secondary level).
- Compliance with the Right to Read Act: certification in, or willingness to complete, Rhode Island Structured Literacy proficiency within one year of hire.
- Experience working with high school students, particularly those with Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) or similar severe behavioral needs.
- Strong skills in classroom management, individualized instruction, and behavioral intervention.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to coordinate closely with other educators, service providers, and families.
- Compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to positive student outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct instruction to high school students in a self-contained or sub-separate environment.

- Track progress, document data, and adjust instruction as needed.
- Adhere to all state and district requirements for compliance and reporting.
