Occupational Therapist School Setting - Eagle Point, OR

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting near Eagle Point, OR. This contract position allows you to make a significant impact on students’ growth and daily functioning, collaborating alongside educational professionals and families. You’ll work with a diverse caseload while using your expertise to foster independence and participation in school environments.

Start date is immediate, and the position runs through June 17, 2027. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon COTA license (required)
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification is mandatory
• Experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Skilled in providing occupational therapy interventions for K-12 students
• Strong communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized occupational therapy plans for students in the K-12 age range
• Support students in developing motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive strategies for classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students’ academic and personal growth
• Document progress, maintain accurate case records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Adjust therapy approaches as needed to reflect students’ evolving needs
