Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education; PreK credentials are highly desired, but elementary certification is gladly considered
• Demonstrated experience supporting a diverse range of exceptionalities, including Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Emotional & Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Specific Learning Disabilities, and students with significant behavioral needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 10-11 students with varying needs
• Must be able to work onsite throughout the contract period

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for a diverse group of learners
• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with student goals
• Utilize proactive behavioral strategies and collaborate on interventions for students requiring additional support
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed, maintaining compliance with special education laws and best practices
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment supporting student growth and well-being
