This full-time, onsite contract position is available for the upcoming academic year and focuses on delivering direct health services within a vibrant educational setting. Work closely with students, educators, and families to promote a healthy school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) license for CA and a current PPS Credential
- Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in developing and maintaining 504 plans
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and health room operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt across multiple campuses and age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage health services for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Administer medications and provide health interventions in compliance with school policies
- Monitor and update 504 plans, advocating for student health needs
- Maintain detailed health records and ensure confidentiality
- Respond to medical emergencies and assess student health concerns
- Educate staff and students on health practices as needed
- Collaborate with school teams to support overall student success
