Para Professional in Osseo, MN

Immediate opportunity available for an experienced paraprofessional to support a middle school resource classroom on a contract basis. What We’re Seeking:

• At least 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fulfillment of at least one qualification pathway:
  • Completion of at least two years (60 semester credits) of college coursework from an accredited institution
  • An associate or higher degree
  • Passing score on an approved basic skills test (ParaPro Assessment or ParaEducator assessments)
• Supportive, dedicated, and adaptable approach to student needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Your Role:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and individual education programs
• Work one-on-one and in small groups with students requiring extra academic or behavioral support
• Help facilitate classroom activities, maintain an organized learning environment, and reinforce positive behaviors
• Track student progress and document observations as needed
• Provide supervision during transitions, breaks, and lunch periods

This role follows a school calendar, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM. Enjoy the structure of the academic year, regular school breaks, and the fulfillment of directly supporting student learning and growth.
