We are seeking experienced and dedicated Special Education Teachers for a contract opportunity through the end of May. These roles offer a chance to have a positive impact through both in-person and virtual work.

You’ll empower students to reach their full potential, collaborating with a supportive team and adapting instruction to meet a variety of unique learning profiles. Two openings are available: a full-time, in-person position (40 hours/week) working at a high school, and a flexible, part-time remote opportunity focusing on students placed in alternative settings. Caseloads are manageable, currently ranging from 21-22 students, ensuring you can provide focused, individualized support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to work in both in-person and virtual settings
• Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction based on student IEPs
• Monitor student progress and modify instructional methods accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Support students in transition planning and life skills development
• Provide direct and consultative support, both on-site and virtually as assigned
