Occupational Therapist School Setting - Bethel, OH

Make a real impact by supporting students’ growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Bethel, OH. You’ll work with a manageable and well-organized caseload of 28 students, ranging from PreK to 12th grade, across a supportive environment that values both collaboration and professional autonomy.

This contract position offers a stable schedule—30 hours per week across four days—giving you meaningful work–life balance. Most of your week will focus on individualized services and small-group interventions, with one day dedicated to specific interventions, allowing you to use your specialized skills to their fullest.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license required
• Experience with school-based OT services preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior
• Develop and implement IEP goals in close coordination with teachers, staff, and families
• Conduct assessments and prepare documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Offer consultative support to educators and families for classroom modifications and student needs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
