School Occupational Therapist - Palisade, Colorado

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ needs and functional skills within the educational setting
• Develop targeted, impactful interventions tailored to each student’s unique goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
• Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with team members and families
• Provide consultative support to classroom staff for student accommodations and modifications
