Teacher's Aide - Gridley, California

You’ll work 20-24 hours weekly, from 2:30-6:00 PM, providing valuable guidance and communication support across various school sites.

Skills and Experience Sought:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
• Previous experience working in a school environment as a paraprofessional or aide preferred
• Comfortable working with students in group and one-on-one situations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel to multiple sites locally
• EIPA certification not required; all dedicated ASL users welcome

In this flexible role, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating clear communication between students and staff using sign language
• Assisting with classroom activities and homework support in the after-school program
• Providing individual or small group support to students with varying needs
