School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston Area | $37–$50/hr

Sunbelt Staffing is currently working with multiple school districts throughout the Houston area that are hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year.

With several districts and campuses hiring, these opportunities span Pre-K through 12th grade, with caseloads, student populations, and day-to-day responsibilities varying by assignment. Position Details

• Speech-Language Pathologist
• Houston, TX and surrounding communities
• Multiple school district openings
• Pre-K–12th grade caseloads
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Caseload and campus vary by district
• $37–$50/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Current 2026–2027 school year
• W-2 contract position

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Complete evaluations and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
• Develop appropriate therapy goals and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education teams, and related-service providers
• Support students with a variety of communication and developmental needs

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Texas SLP license
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Texas educational credential/certification as required for the assignment
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Clinical Fellows may be considered for applicable openings
