Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (required)
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Skill in differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom strategies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualized instruction to a class of 8-10 elementary students (3rd-5th grade)
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals to tailor classroom support
  • Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and specialists
  • Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
  • Track and report on student progress and development
