Social Worker in Warren, MI

A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Social Worker to provide vital support to students from now through late June 2027. This onsite role focuses on supporting both General Education and Special Education populations within a collaborative educational environment near Warren, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary resource for students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs in both general and special education settings.
• Coordinate and manage 504 Plans for students requiring accommodations.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and social-emotional learning programs.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive school climate.
• Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active Michigan state licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment, with a strong foundation in clinical assessment and intervention.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for collaboration.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism.
