What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of one year’s experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of the following:
  • At least two years of college credits (60 semester credits) from an accredited institution, or
  • An associate degree or higher, or
  • A passing score on an approved basic skills test (such as ParaPro Assessment: 455 or higher, or ParaEducator: 65% on Instructional Support and 70% on Knowledge and Application)
• Enthusiasm for helping middle school students achieve classroom success
• Collaborative, flexible attitude and strong communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Support certified educators in delivering instruction in a middle school resource classroom
• Assist students with assignments, individual education plans, and classroom engagement
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Implement individualized strategies for student motivation and behavioral support
• Maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication between students, families, and staff

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, allowing for a stable weekday schedule. The location offers a welcoming school atmosphere and the chance to positively influence the academic journey of students.
