Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives while growing your career as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational setting. This contract position offers you the opportunity to bring your professional expertise to help elementary-aged students develop essential skills that support their learning and independence.

As part of a close-knit school staff, you will deliver therapeutic services and work collaboratively with teachers and families. Enjoy a unique schedule—working only three days per week—so you can balance your passion for helping others with time for personal pursuits. The assignment spans from Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, through Friday, October 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state OT license and registration in good standing
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and document progress
  • Commitment to fostering student potential in a compassionate, supportive environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to elementary students
  • Schedule and conduct 30 half-hour sessions per week across three workdays
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to achieve IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough records and timely progress reports in alignment with school and regulatory requirements
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings as needed to advocate for student needs

Experience a rewarding role where your work directly influences young learners’ confidence and abilities. If you’re an adaptable and caring OT ready to contribute your expertise in a school environment, apply today to make a difference this fall!

Compensation for this position ranges from $31.70 to $61.70. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
