You’ll work in Berkeley, CA from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, serving a small, focused caseload of 11 students.

Your day will be well-rounded and engaging—7.17 hours each weekday, supporting students through individualized education plans and fostering meaningful academic and life skills growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California moderate/severe (mod/severe) Special Education Credential required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in moderate/severe (ESN) settings
• Demonstrated ability to design differentiated instruction and implement behavioral supports
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning environments
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment for students with moderate to severe disabilities

• Utilize adaptive technology and alternate curricula to advance student learning
• Maintain accurate records, assessments, and required documentation
