Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong grasp of radiation safety procedures and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Proficient in the use and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment and imaging software
  • Ability to accurately interpret physician orders and follow imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • At least one year of recent experience in nuclear medicine imaging

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours
  • Flexible scheduling may be available based on department needs

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed for imaging procedures
  • Conduct nuclear medicine scans, ensuring accurate technique and optimal image quality
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff to discuss results and facilitate quality care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures according to facility guidelines
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning, report issues, and ensure all supplies are adequately stocked
  • Practice consistent patient safety and employ radiation protection measures at all times
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
