Occupational Therapist School Setting - Dubach, LA

Seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist for a part-time virtual contract opportunity supporting a diverse school caseload. This short-term assignment starts as soon as possible and runs for one to two months, with flexibility to support ongoing needs. As a vital resource, you’ll conduct re-evaluations across various grade levels, focus on PreK assessments on Fridays, and play a key role in guiding and supervising a dedicated COTA teammate.

This is an ideal position for a professional comfortable delivering services virtually, who can readily step into a supervisory role for a talented COTA. Your leadership ensures students continue to receive high-quality therapy services throughout the term of the contract and potentially beyond with continued supervision (arrangements discussed separately post-contract).

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Skilled with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Demonstrated success supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Thorough with multi-grade re-evaluations and conducting PreK occupational therapy evaluations

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide remote occupational therapy re-evaluations for students across multiple grade levels
• Conduct PreK evaluations virtually each Friday
• Offer direct supervision and ongoing support to a COTA, ensuring compliance and quality service
• Complete documentation and communication as required for a school-based setting
